A temperature meter or a thermometer is a device that measures and displays the temperature. Bimetallic temperature gauges use two pieces of metal with different expansion, stacked and rolled into a spring form. When there is a change in temperature, these two metal bars will be bent unevenly, thereby changing the position of the pointer, and displaying the indicator on the watch face.
How does a temperature meter work?
The device is mainly operated by two pieces of metal having different expansion rates, when the temperature changes we expand and bend to one side (any piece of metal with lower expansion will be pressed down). and bent to that side. At the same time, the metal foil has a head that is fixed to the protective tube and the other end is attached to the shaft designed to drive with the watch indicator. When the temperature changes, the two metal leaves have different expansion degrees that rotate the indicator shaft. All movements are reasonably calculated so that the indicator moves to the temperature line accurately. To reduce the chemical impact or vibration effect from the outside environment, two metal leaves are designed in the spiral form of the spring, and placed inside a metal protective tube, usually Stainless steel.
When selecting a temperature meter, we should pay attention to the measurement environment, size, and system temperature in order to achieve the best performance at the lowest cost. For each different temperature measuring environment there will be a suitable meter and meter.
In each case, the meter is installed at the position to meet the needs, the place where the temperature is measured. Depending on the location of the watch, choose or adjust the length of the measuring wire to ensure accuracy and avoid waste.
An important factor when measuring temperature is the diameter of the temperature meter. The larger the diameter of the watch, the larger the scale, which ensures accurate measurement results.
Real-time temperature meter application
This watch is often used to measure temperature in factories of shipbuilding, refrigeration industry, energy technology, chemical industry, food processing and beverage production and beverage. The clock is also used in oven, oil, compressor temperature regulation systems, can monitor the circuit regulation and switching of many different industries.
